Instinct of Survival was originally founded back in 1995 as Sperrzone and started with typical german punk. soon the band developed a more crustie style and changed the bands name into instinct of survival in 1998. even though the band was allways based in the d.i.y. punk underground the musical style changed more and more into grindcore. in the end of 2003 the path of grindcore was left behind and since then the sound is heavily influenced by all that great 80ies uk crust/stenchcore stuff.
