The Washington Apple - Psychedelic Rock (USA)

The Washington Apple group was organized in Pacific Northwest and consisted of Janette Marble (vocals), Joe Hadlock (keyboards), Tom Chapman (guitar), David King (bass) and Scott Schreckengost (drums). They began their activity with writing music for radio advertising. After their music was successfully used in a series of commercials, they were given the opportunity to record a full album. In 1970, a contract was signed with the Delicious Records Label from Seattle and the group began work. In the same year the album "Fresh Country Apples" was released, consisting of nine songs. There was a series of extended versions of their early commercial advertising jingles, blues covers "Summertime", "Blues For J", pseudo-jazz "Another Day", a version of the song "The Youngbloods" - "Sunlight". This diversity allowed the dealers to refer it to classical psychedelia, which made it possible later to make it into the Acid-Tripping San Francisco Band's Catalog. This album was the only one in the band's career.
