Vitor Lopes & Chorando as Pitangas - Samba Jazz, Latin Jazz (Harmonica)

Who says it's not possible to whistle playing the harmonica? This question may have the answer on this CD, the gaitorist Vitor Lopes. Formed by professionals connected to the choro of São Paulo, "Chorando as Pitangas" is Milton Mori (mandolin), Luisinho 7 cuerdas (seven string guitar), Roberta Valente (pandeiro) and Ildo Silva (cavaquinho) inspired by Vitor, in songs by Pixinguinha, Ernesto Nazareth, Altamiro Carrilho, Severino Araújo, among others. Vitor Lopes, a 31-year-old from São Paulo, started out in pop-rock bands, soon after he approached and fell in love with Brazilian rhythms and today is considered one of the most important names in the song. With an academic background, he has participated in albums by artists such as Arnaldo Antunes, Chitãozinho & Xororó and Palavra Cantada.
