La Pesada del Rock and Roll, also known as Billy Bond and La Pesada del Rock and Roll, was a pioneer Argentine hard rock band, formed in 1970 by producer Jorge Álvarez (co-founder of Mandioca record label) and singer and producer Billy Bond, to be the accompaniment group of the latter, recognized by Argentine musicians, such as Pappo, Luis Alberto Spinetta, Javier Martínez, Claudio Gabis, Alejandro Medina or David Lebón, among others. La Pesada also collaborated in the recording of several albums by different artists, including Vida, the first album by Sui Generis.
