Valvulado: Ave de Veludo - Blues Rock (Brazil)

In April 1980 at the Idema Theater, Ave de Veludo group gave their first performances of blues. At the time the band was composed of three elements that pleased many nights in the theaters of Bixiga, Cenarte, Oficina and the Procópio Ferreira theater in São Bernardo do Campo (São Paulo).

In July 1981, at a performance at the Cenarte Theater they felt the need for one more element in the band. They got a singer in love with Blues, tweaked the arrangements and after many rehearsals made a short season at the Nações Unidas Theater then went to festivals and some performances at the extinct "Praça do Rock" at Jardim Da Aclimação in Sao Paulo where they were always very applauded.

Since then "Ave" has evolved a lot and recorded its work that results in this Lp Electric Blues (The First Full Blues Disc Released in Brazil for the label "Cheap Related" the disc basically shows the Blues With Very Heavy Rock. Letters speak of life, escape, dreams and peace.

In l996 The album was remastered for digital by Luiz Calanca and included 4 tracks with the formation of trio with Paulinho taking on vocals and 2 extra tracks Andarilho and Onde Erramos, recorded live at Projeto SP at the 10th Anniversary Party of Baratos Afins . It is worth checking.

Members:

Ney Prado: Guitars. perfected in guitar at the Tupinamba Conservatory, his training goes from Blues to Classico and he subscribes to most of the band's compositions.

Paulinho Prado: Bass. He studied guitar at the Paulista College of Arts and Academy of Guitar where he perfected and specialized in Double Bass, has a jazz background and is also the arranger of most of the group's repertoire.

Sérgio Tenorio: Drums. Studied Long time in the group "Ama" studied theory and percussion at the São Caetano do Sul Foundation, always playing Parallel in groups of pop music and jazz rock.

Jose Carlos Gianotti: Voice. Sang in several other bands is self-taught, his school was listening to records of American and English blues singers, also composes and is his own most lyrics.
