Recognized and praised by personalities of Brazilian music and criticism, such as Roberto Menescal, Nelson Motta and Gal Costa, Marcela Mangabeira has been developing notoriety over the years, both in her solo work and in the group 4 Cantus, of which she is also a member.
Born in Recife - PE, she began her activities as a singer in Cuiabá - MT, where she built the foundation of her career and prepared to take a bigger step by moving to Rio in 2003.

Since then, she has performed with artists such as Zélia Duncan and Paulinho Moska, participated in the first European tour of the Bossacucanova, made her first solo tour of Asia (Thailand), and sang alongside Roberto Menescal, Wanda Sá, Andy Summers ) and Sérgio Britto (Titãs), among others. With Britto, he recorded the song "Sol e Água Limpa" in a duet on the artist's last solo album (Purabossanova), and ended up integrating the solo show tour of Titan, with whom he toured Brazil.

He released his first album "Simple" in 2005 in Japan and in 2006 in Brazil, and today, he adds his name to more than 30 compilations spread throughout Europe and Asia, in more than 80 songs with his voice and his charisma.

"Colors of Rio", his last album, is a result of the great positive repercussion that accompanies his projects of pop music in English with very Brazilian arrangements released around the world. It was a natural process to take a look at the best songs and officially launch it in Brazil, a place where, gradually, through the internet, it has gradually increased its audience.
