Laranja Oliva - Rock Funk & Soul (Brazil)

A mix of rock'n'roll and a unique sound coming from African culture, Laranja Oliva brings his identity to the song Wei-Ji, track that integrates the second album of the career of the band from Limeira, in the interior of São Paulo - Brazil. The single, which integrates the new album Carta da Terra, was produced by Hugo Silva and is inspired by the sound that comes from the African, Chinese and indigenous Brazilian culture. "It was wonderful to record this work.It is a reaffirmation of human inconstancy and at the same time a conscious embodiment of peace.Wei ji basically means opportunity / crisis. We understand then that there are opportunities amid the crisis and this relationship, between the two terms in a single symbol in oriental culture, makes us rethink some concepts petrified in ours, "explains the band.

With a quotation from Gandhi, 'There is no way to peace, peace is the way,' Orange Oliva brings current questions to music, which featured a chorus of 500 children, ages 5 to 12, from E.M.E.I.E.F. ARACY NOGUEIRA GUIMARÃES, located in the neighborhood of Lagoa Nova, on the outskirts of Limeira, in the state of São Paulo. "We believe that this is the solution to all the concerns that make up the day to day of those who built themselves in the" Information Age ". Among so many extremes, we see inner peace as the key to all the questions that body and mind are predisposed to have, "said the members. Check the sound:
