This is by far, one of the best Christmas Jazz CDs I have heard in a long time. Vincent's selection of Christmas songs is superior.....from the light-hearted ("It's the Most Wonderful Time of the Year", "Sleigh Ride") to the more "serious" ("The True Meaning of Christmas","Mary, Did You Know?") Each gem is done with impeccable taste, staying true to the nature of the song. I only wish I knew about this CD much sooner in the season, since I wasn't aware of it, and thus, didn't order it until almost after Christmas. Next year, you can be sure I'll begin playing "Christmas" right after Thanksgiving....if not sooner! I cannot recommend it enough, especially if you like your Christmas carols done with that special spicy splash of Jazz. By the way, let me add that Vincent is a SUPER talented musician, who not only plays several instruments, but does the vocals ,and quite beautifully, on Track No.8, "Mary, Did You Know?"
