The group has captivated the local scene due to its innovative capacity. In addition, the skill and ability of its musicians, make that there is a fresh musical proposal, novel and original. Humus Fuga is integrated by Johan Regalado -bass-, Darvin Cabrera -drums- and César Roulet -guitar-. This disc includes seven songs based on progressive rock.
"For us it is a project that has allowed us to grow musically, explore new melodies and create new ways of making music", said Roulet, who together with Cabrera and Regalado, are convinced to continue with this approach for future creations.
Humus Fuga began in 2008 with this musical adventure and its members are influenced by rock, punk and metal. In 2012, her style was popularized after her participation in the Zona Música project (ZOM2012), an initiative created by the Cultural Center of Spain in Guatemala with the collaboration of the CREA (Support to Creation) Department of the Ministry of Culture and Sports of Guatemala and in August of last year they participated in Guatemalan Week in Los Angeles, United States, where they promoted their songs.
