Link Quartet is an Italian acid jazz band. Born in 1993 in Piacenza from an idea by Giulio Cardini (aka Mr. Link) on guitar, with the collaboration of Riccardo "Ciack" Bergonzi on drums by Renzo Bassi on bass by Maurizio Girgenti on keyboards, (replaced at the end of the nineties dall'hammondista Paolo Negri) and percussionist Antonio Bacciocchi (aka Tony Face) who will become drummer in the group after the release of Bergonzi.
The legendary kings of hammondbeat, LINK QUARTET from Italy, have released six records, several singles, digital releases and appeared on numerous compilations and guest appearances since 1993 already. Now the jazzy, funky instrumental quartet around the virtuosic Paolo 'Apollo' Negri release yetanother fantastic record, this time on Sound Flat Records, that has a Mod/soul/jazz-feeling to it.
