Hall Aflame is the uncompromising side-project from Metal Church's Kurt Vanderhoof. While down-tuned grunge ruled the 90s Seattle scene, the mighty Metal Church and Hall Aflame kicked ass with thrashin' action. While Hall Aflame is a stripped down version of the Metal Church approach, the ass kickin' is prevalent, as Guaranteed Forever rips behind the likes of "No How, No Way", "The Money", "One Time Winner", "Shake The Pain" and "Pirate's Life". Breaking up the raw metal assault, Vanderhoof and company serve up genuine acoustic numbers that show off the vocal talent of Ron Lowd, with "Cold Wind", and the album closer "Country Angel".
