Obscure German rock band formed in 1969. Ihre Kinder sang already in a time when the German language was still frowned upon in rock music, in their native language.
Musical Diversity: The Nuremberg Band Ihre Kinder covered a huge musical spectrum, the spectrum ranged from acoustic folk over rich blues and oriental-inspired psycho-pop to rock-hard rock.
Ihre Kinder: The first album of the band, financed and produced by Jonas Porst and recorded in the Stommelner recording studio by Dieter Dierks, was initially rejected by German record companies as being too uncommercial. Finally, it released Philips - but so half-heartedly that it was almost sang- and soundless.
