Aurelien Morro & The Checkers - Blues Funk (France)

In a rather blues record, this quartet also explores the "Funk Music" as a whole with interesting personal compositions where the group finds all its originality and its modernity!
Come discover this combo whose benefits exude energy and whose feeling never fails to respect the essence of American black music.

The release of "French Quarter" Aurelien Morro's new album & The Checkers is the occasion of this exceptional evening. We welcomed them in 2015 for their first opus and what a long way since! The group has exploded and is today a must-attend training of the French blues scene with its blues-funky style. For the occasion, they will be accompanied by their brass section as well as prestigious guests such as Arnaud Fradin, leader of "Malted Milk", the groove band of the moment and the Italian Marco Pandolfi, one of the best European harmonica players . A promising evening supported by our friends from Arvern 'Blues Concerts that go to great lengths to share their passion for blues with the Auvergne public. Note that, after a specific residence at the springboard last spring under the leadership of Frederic Roz, the Clermont group won the "French Blues Challenge" on August 16 at the Charite-sur-Loire, as part of the Blues Festival. sur-Loire. The best French teams met to represent France at the "International Blues Challenge" in Memphis. They will therefore go to the US in January 2018, to rub the cream of world blues musicians.
