Band from Denmark, formed in 1970 in the small town of Næstved. The quintet Polyfeen was active for a short time in the early 70 and disbanded without release an official record, but in 2001 a live recording of the band in 1972 was recovered and launched by Orpheus. Langt ude i Skoven is divided into 6 tracks, most long that combine psychedelic and progressive rock (proto-prog) influences. Has a lot of improvisation in instrumental, dominated by organ and acid guitar passages in the style of local bands, mainly Alrune Rod, even through all the lyrics are in Danish. The low point is the recording quality, really poor. Although solid, highlight is "Polyfeen", "Campingturen", "Take Livet" and "Habet".
